Kwame Nkrumah

English · Politics, Radio

Meet the Press is a television news interview program presented here in its radio-broadcast form. Its format centers on a guest answering questions from a panel of journalists, giving listeners a direct encounter with public figures and the issues they address.

This program features Kwame Nkrumah, then prime minister of Ghana. The interview offers a chance to hear him respond to questions in his own words, with the discussion shaped by the panel’s inquiries rather than by narration or dramatic scenes.

The appeal is the immediacy of the exchange: a focused conversation that brings political ideas and current affairs into a clear, accessible format. Listeners can follow the questions, consider the answers, and hear a notable public figure speak in a setting built around scrutiny and discussion.

This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
