I really enjoyed this book.

I am always looking for a book that is interesting and doesn't have to rely on violence and foul language to tell the story. This is just the kind of book I like and being from Alaska I really enjoyed it.

When I first started this book I was a bit skeptical but I'm glad I gave it a chance. After just a few chapters I was hooked.

Really enjoyed this. Pure escapism! The end is a bit incongruous with the rest of the story but I enjoyed it all.

dawwww, an old-fashioned shoot-em-up love story... the readers were awesome and I'm glad Roger Melin was one of them, because he has read all the other J O Curwood books I've listened to. A few antiquated offensive racist words were awful to listen to, but Librivox's policy of reading the text as it was written and published reminds us that casual racism is no longer tolerated today.

Good job. A lot of twist interns. I figure the wife out about three minutes before she admitted it. Also he mentions characters from other books with different information on their characters, like Peliteir dying.

The Alaskan

(0.5 étoiles)

A slow drawn out soap opera, where the characters constantly strive to understand others without asking them for an explanation of their actions.

GIANTS IN THE LAND

An action-filled Curwood story at his best. The readers did good jobs.
