At breakfast, Mr. Graham drops the bombshell that his niece -- Joan, Jane or Janet, he's not sure which, will be arriving from the west to live with his large family. The news is met with mixed emotions - horror from his wife, resentment from the eldest two daughters and amusement from the eldest son. What will this stranger be like? How will she fit in with her cousins? - Summary by Lynne Thompson (5 hr 8 min)

Unfortunately the recordings are tinny and echoey. If that echo goes sound goes away the readers will be good to listen too. Cannot listen now and I think this will be a good book too.

A delightful story full of lessons in how to live a number of virtues that were woven beautifully into the story! It was difficult to always understand the one Male reader.
Stella Belle
It good moral to the story :) happy ending. One reader was pretty hard to understand.

Delightful. Refreshing. The storyline might be considered predictable, but the world would be a gentler place if the kindness in this story were a bit more predictable in real life.

Liked it better than An Old-Fashioned Girl by LMA.
