The Best I Have Heard

(5 étoiles)

The BBC Presents: Philip Marlowe was, without question, The best Philip Marlowe I have ever heard. The episodes with Toby Stephens are good, but I think he plays Marlowe a little too flat. Ed Bishop and the supporting cast do a tremendous job with these stories.

Very realistic.

I highly recommend this version. With all the sound affects and radio acting you feel like you are there with Phillip Marlow.

Review of the BBC, Philip Marlowe series

Extremely well presented. I agree probably one of the best for Philip Marlowe presentations I’ve listened to. Did the BBC do any other similar detective series?

One of The Best Audio Chandler

I used to be able to find the entire series of these, but now, only this one. Some of the best Marlowe adaptations ever.
