Abroad with the Lockharts
Wagon-Lits Office in Paris
von
“Abroad with the Lockharts” follows an American family as they travel through Europe, encountering unfamiliar customs, places, and people along the way. The title’s reference to the Wagon-Lits office in Paris suggests a setting connected with the practical business of travel, giving this installment a distinctly European backdrop.
As an Old Time Radio program, the story unfolds through spoken performance and sound, inviting listeners to follow the Lockharts’ experiences as they navigate life abroad. Its appeal lies in the contrast between the family’s familiar perspective and the settings and situations they meet on their travels.
This recording is part of the Old Time Radio collection.
