A Collection of Aussie Radio Shows No 179 - Part 5. During July 2003, the idea for a program on community radio featuring notable Australian artists from the past was born. After receiving approval for "Australian Archives," recording commenced in October 2003.

With over 40 years of collecting recordings, many have been by Aussie performers. I am grateful to my long-time friends Geoff Orr and Jamie Kelly for providing hours of material to work with. Their contributions, along with my personal collection, have ensured a vast selection of Aussie tracks.

I still host a weekly Aussie program on Southern FM 88.3 at 0940 Wednesdays called "Archived Aussies." I hope you enjoy these memories of great Aussie performers.
