I had only known the Nutcracker story through watching the ballet. I was interested in reading/listening to the source, which went into much more detail about the battle between the Nutcracker and Mouse King. The reader did an excellent job, adding to the charm of this delightful fairy tale.

if you like Alice in Wonderland you will LOVE this tale. If you are looking for a little tike's' sweet Ballet story, know that "The Nutcracker" has been simplified and made more "Merry"
