Engaging story...

...with exceptional narration. A story of love but also of great pain and loss. Set mainly in San Francisco it gives some historical perspective of the time and place with a fascinating view of the social mores as well. It’s insightful view into human sacrifice will keep one engrossed until the end. Highly recommend!

Great reader. Narration captures the story perfectly without over the top dramatics. I like this author. The characters and the exotic environment are drawn with empathy and depth.
