Athens is in a sorry state of affairs. The great tragedian, Euripides, is dead, and Dionysus, the god of the theater, has to listen to third-rate poetry. So, he determines to pack his belongings onto his trusty slave, Xanthias, and journey to the underworld to bring back Euripides! Hi-jinks ensue. (Summary by Libby Gohn)

good play

(3 Sterne)

great job by many in the cast but unfortunately there were several readers who were very difficult to understand so that I had to read along with a book. but what's the point of an audiobook when you need a written text too?

Nicely done everyone.

I enjoyed it. I know there are a few complaints about the accents, but I didn't find it too bad, In fact, I think the frogs worked really well. thank you.

poor reading

(1 Sterne)

The main character of this play is read by someone with a very strong accent. I listened for about 4 minutes and then gave up.

the cast was great except for the Dionysus character. He was much too difficult to hear at times

Sorry, but I can't understand the Indian accented reader. So I gave up in the 1st chapter.
