Have returned to listen to these wonderful tales several times for the joy of listening to a reader who can do no wrong. Such a lovely accent pace and interpretation. Thank you Tadgh.

Hardy is absolutely wonderful for contrasting the ever shifting beauties of nature with the cruel twists of human fate. Although he describes events set 200 years ago in a very different society, the immediacy of the emotional, physical, pecuniary and moral challenges confronting his characters is never lost. I found some passages so upsetting that I had to stop listening for a while, but that just shows how perceptive he is.

I adore Tadgh. When he reads a story, his accent and excellent diction imbue it with deeper character. His voice brings the author's words to life. These stories were varied and all highly interesting.

Love the Thomas Hardy characters especially the good hearted and innocent locals. The stories are beautifully read. There are still more Hardy novels that I would love to hear read by TgHd - Teig Hinds?

The stories are a wonderful distraction from the delightfully long books that one may listen to on LibriVox. Every story here was very entertaining and impeccably read by Tadhg. Loved it!
