I am amazed at the variety of stories that this author has written. Mostly incorporating aspects of the great outdoors. I loved the characters and felt a bond with them. Previous reviews mentioned the reader's style of reading. It was a little slow but the Librivox app I am using has a little Rabbit icon at the top. By tapping the icon you can speed up or slow down the speed of the reader. I was able to set the speed of the reading and enjoyed the book.

The second reader was trying. It's too bad people are so unkind. Volunteer readers are providing a free service. If not a users cup of tea, move on.

the story may be interesting, but very hard to listen to the monotone voice of the reader

The first reader was EXCELLENT, however, the second reader was absolutely HORRIBLE!! Can someone, anyone, please explain how this person was chosen to complete the reading of this, otherwise, wonderful book??? MY COMMENT IS DIRECTED TO THOSE WITH AUTHORITY AT LIBRIVOX.
