Based on the contest ending "this coming Tuesday, December 15th", and the reference to the Dionne twins (actually quintuplets), and that it was aired on Saturdays, then this would have aired on Saturday December 12, 1936. I looked this up for my Dad, who had the opening theme song stuck in his head.
