"Dogtown City Limits", on college/community station KALX, broadcast on May 13, 1989- Sergio Leone died around this time, and as tribute, Dogtown played a "rare, lost old radio show" (dubbed into English from Italian radio) called "Sergio Leone Theatre" - it's an exercise in patience, and received many angered phone calls. "Dogtown City Limits" was a satirical college radio show broadcast on KALX Berkeley in the late 80s/early 90s. It was produced with no budget on recycled tape and was an attempt to ressurect the radio comedy of the likes of Bob & Ray/Stan Freberg and blend it with satirical shows like SCTV.
