This course is part of a study of mind and cognition in the FPMT Basic Program of Buddhist Studies that serves as an introduction to and investigation of the Buddhist understanding of the mind and its varied functions. In this part, Minds and Mental Factors, we will explore a Buddhist psychological model of the mind and its components, examining awareness from the perspective of the positive and negative states that condition our personality and direct the course of our spiritual development.
