An outstanding story

As always, I will start by saying this book was BRILLIANTLY read! The story itself is entertaining, twisting and turning its way through the plot to a surprising conclusion. Absolutely wonderful to listen to! Please remember, this book was written nearly 100 years ago and some references to ethnicity are outside of what is acceptable today. This does not mean avoid the book or get all precious about the (approx 5 or so) references you will hear. It is merely a reflection of a bygone era and as such should not cause offence. ENJOY THE STORY!

The story is interesting. A woman was pushed as a child to deduce things others can't and to notice & remember things/people that others can't. She & her skills seem a bit hokey but this didn't detract much from the story. She loves the suspected man so she uses her skills to help the detective solve the case. There are many twists here. The reader is very good.
interesting plot, many turns and many characters

I enjoyed this although at times I was confused somewhat by the number of characters and what seemed at first to be a side track in the plot. Principal characters are difficult to empathise with. But it’s well read and interesting
Murder mystery

Thought this a good mystery. Author did a good job of creating intrigue. I usually don't listen to murder mysteries, but because of Mark's incredible reading, I chose this one. . Glad I did
errata - and apologies
Nicely plotted and a sweet ending. Well narrated Mark Nelson. Sorry for the mistype of readers name- (sometimes I hate spellcheck). Cindy Barnett
