This is a sweet little story, with characters I grew attached to...and I am sorry it didn't continue! Yet it certainly leaves the reader with happy imaginings and a glad sigh! I'll have to read The Virginian now. :). VERY well read! Thank you!
a trip worth the taking

heart-warming old-fashioned story set in the Old West. Reader was great!
Kind of sweet: Rough Rural Cowboy meets Tough Urban Street Urchin

It's a sweet story that gets close to schmaltz, but veers off. A story of kindness and welcoming responsibilities rather than ducking them. And Christmas generosity.

Good story of a man looking for a real meaning for his existence.

A great story that is heartwarming but not mushy. The story isn't religious so it's for everyone!
