Weapons of Mystery
Joseph Hocking
Read by LibriVox Volunteers
Justin Blake receives an invitation from his old school-fellow Tom Temple to join him and his family for the Christmas holidays in Yorkshire. Having no other plans, he decides to go. Though he is normally much the opposite of what would be called a lady's man, he falls instantly in love with Miss Forrest, one of the guests, who had already shared his train compartment on the way. When he meets the mysterious Herod Voltaire and finds that he must protect the girl from him and his weapons of mystery, the adventure begins. (Summary by Carolin) (5 hr 50 min)

Reviews
Not my type of book

I do not care for books with occult themes, and it wasn't until chapter 2 that this theme appeared, so I was done with the book. The reader was excellent, as she always is, I just do not care for this type of book.

I skipped the middle of the book. If it tells you anything about the book,I didn't feel lost when I came in at chapter 17 to the close. Enjoyed the reader.
