Dr. Ray Cyst
Childrens books should be edifying. These books are not. There is not one mention of homosexuality or descriptions of how to engage in it. There are no discussions on how white people are systematically killing BIPOCs. In place of discussions on white fragility, we just have a bunch of amusing kids stories. Kids do not want to be amused. They want to learn how they are complicit in a system of abuse that marginalizes and ignores communities of color. It is safe to say we need to dig up the dead author and pulverize his remains in order to demonstrate inclusivity.
