Reviews
Pleasant surprise
Gbutler
I must admit that I didn't really see this end coming. Some reviewers take issue with the political slants In this story but the views expressed I really the story itself. One thing I liked about this story is they did not spend very much time trying to expand on scientific advances , It was much more an exploration on ideas and government and human social evolution.
well read. well written.
Olivia hewlett
Karen savage is one of the best readers. this short sci-fi was thought provoking and entertaining.
A LibriVox Listener
As always, Karen Savage reads perfectly . The book itself is unexpectedly insightful and enjoyable.
JC
A bite size intro into socioeconomic and sociopolitical theory and history of human government inside a brisk, interplanetary caper, competently read by one of the best on Librivox. A little dated in its subversion of sexual politics of its day, but just as relevant in its broader social thoery as when it was written.
Good story, Nice reader

The story, itself, is a nice easy listen. The reader was very good as well, although a bit louder with certain characters (which made listening while going to sleep slightly harder) but overall I'd recommend this one if you like science fiction.
Pulpy Fun
Edelweiss
Obvious a bit dated, this pulpy fun sci-fi is a short and surprisingly engaging read. A bit didactic, but overall good fast-paced plot that makes you think. The narrator did a wonderful job as well with voices and accents for most characters.
Bravo from Borneo
Lord Jim
What a great novella. Really appreciated the premise of the story and how it played out. Chapeau to Karen Savage, who as usual, brought the characters to life with her sublime narration.
Thule!
