VINTAGE SCOTT

(5 stars)

As usual, it takes awhile to fathom where Scott is going, but, once this is determined, it is a fine historical novel. The frightening thing is that the Leicester's and the Barney's were all too prevalent at the courts of Europe. Kudos to the reader for her even-paced narratio of this lengthy work.

American accent destroys Elizabethan English. Unlistenable.
