Excellently Read by Christine Blachford

This is wonderfully read by Christine Blachford. Unfortunately, she has only read the first three books in the series, and as I enjoyed her reading so much I will not be able to continue with the rest of the 'Grace Harlowe' books as Christine did so well that I couldn't now listen to a different reader! Please finish reading the whole series, Christine, as 'Grace Harlowe' isn't the same without you! :-)

well done

Delightful story and beautifully read. Thoroughly enjoyable. I love coming across these delightful stories which - because they're so old - I would never have found on the shelves at the local library. Thanks so much librivox

I like both this reader and ashleighjane for this series, but I find this reader a little too fast for relaxed listening in some chapters. If I try to slow down the audio, it breaks up.

refreshing

Very good and well read story of young people in a era that is in the very long ago past. Give it a try I think you will enjoy it. Thanks Librivox and Christine Blachford.

Sweet .... like an early Nancy Drew

Nice old fashioned book for teens

Reader rushed a bit but was otherwise excellent. Very pleasant listening experience. 5 stars for the reader, four for the book.

This was great! Very clear, good reader. I only noticed one mispronunciation. The story is great.
