I had never seen or read this Thorndyke book, so it was quite intriguing to hear it. No Jervis and very little Polton left us to learn more about Thorndyke as a character and man as an individual. Very interesting. We know who did it and how up front, so it’s largely about how Thorndyke works it out through experience and science. Excellent reader, too.
