I've been wanting to listen to this, book 1 of the stainless steel rat for a long time. to find Phil reading this is an unexpected surprise! literally the best reader. ~~ the story is well-written and hooks you right away. this is only the start of a great series of books. ~~ The Misplaced Battleship is part 2 of this series! it's really great too
Dances with Prose
Short and to the point - the beginning of the Stainless Steel Rat. I did not like the story at first but as it progressed it piqued my interest. The action was described superbly as it elevated my blood pressure. Now I am considering reading more stories in this series.
