SHHHH! was specially composed for the Miso Portugal Soundwalk 2010. This miniature was created by using only white noise. In a certain way, it refers to the early electroacoustic music such as Stockhausen’s Studies. Émilie Payeur (CA) :: Lives and works in Montreal. The electroacoustic composer and visual artist Émilie Payeur presents works steeped in the influence of the abstract movements of the 20th century, the psychedelic art of the 60’s, experimental cinema and good old fashion surrealism. Her compositions have been performed throughout the US, Canada and the world, in festivals and other musical events, notably in San Francisco, Oregon, California, Texas, Kentucky, Nashville and Transylvania, Paris, Brest, Lisbon, Toronto and Montreal.
