Parsley Sidings
Radio Comedy
by
Welcome to Parsley Sidings, a delightful radio comedy set in a sleepy railway station somewhere in England. Originally aired in 1970, this charming series features some of the cast from the beloved television sitcom Dad's Army, along with stars from the Carry On films.
Loosely based on the Will Hay film comedy Oh Mr Porter, the show revolves around the forgotten railway halt and the humorous attempts to boost passenger numbers, as well as the station's rivalry with Potwhistle Halt. With a talented cast including Arthur Lowe as Mr. Hepplewhite, Ian Lavender as his son Bert, and Kenneth Connor as the station's Porter, the series promises unexpected laughter and memorable characters.
These episodes are off-air recordings of the original broadcasts, presented in high-quality FLAC format. Enjoy the nostalgia of this classic radio comedy!
