Bob returns from Washington D.C. and Doris Day meets him at the airport. Bob grabs a taxi driven by an out of work Fred Allen. Fred tells Bob that radio is dead because of television, and neither wants anything to do with it. But later, both Fred and Bob show up at an ad agency in hopes of getting into television.
