This is an excellent series & I've loved each book. The background sounds make your feel like your there. no stupid long music. no email address & author talking endlessly at the end of every chapter. The plot is just fascinating & addicting as hell. My only complaint is the fact that the author reads each character voice in a stuttering, halting insecure weak way that drove me insane. like they all have a speech impediment & are not perpetually insecure & scared. The military are all scared & disorganized to the point that it's unrealistic. You will hate some of the people's weak, scared, frozen stuttering, cowardly personality but it's not a book killer. I want to ban him from using the words Hysterical & Muttered which he wears out big time. Aside from that I loved the series & the authors voice is smooth & wonderful. He has a real talent & a serious imagination. love it & highly recommend these books!

loooooved this story!! amazing sense of intrigue & mystery

Despite some previous poor reviews about this story being confusing; I got soaked in to the mystery of the unfolding plot straight away and couldn't wait to find out what was actually going on. great narration from the author and brilliant haunting interlude music really added to the atmosphere of the story. already on the hunt for more by this author!

great story thank god it's just a book

if this story was history it would, explain the pucker spot in my undies, wow. but now I think about it may be it is history, or many it's just a story check it out and see what may pucker for you. thanks vary much to the author great job either way.

Absolutely gripping, loved it

Well this was a rollercoaster and I really enjoyed the plot twists and turns. I found the characters involving. Maybe it’s my ears, maybe it’s me listening in the car, but I kept thinking the reader said “Chris” when he said “Grace”. I enjoyed the reading, nice to hear an English accent ;) and I thought the tone and delivery was excellent for the story. I will look for more by this author

Ian Hulme is rising star. A master story teller of sci fic

The HeavenField is a totally unique concept. A blazing beacon of originality in the vast galaxy of rehashed sci-fi story arcs. The icing on the cake is Ian's talent as a narrator. Give it a listen you will love it. Warmest Regards Mark R. Honas

OK so I liked the series went thru all four books in two days . Was really excited for the battle , but that being said if there is not another book after this then boo , end was really anti climactic and to many questions left just hanging so. ...

Amazing new storyteller

Am epic series, so will written and performed. I was hanging on the edge of my seat with suspense, fantastic twists and turns. I'll be following the author from now on. It's great to have a story not follow traditional format and be predictable.

not bad

an interesting story of good vs evil. left wide open for the sequel as well. my only complaint would be that the author keeps switching between characters first and last names so you need to keep track of who is who sometimes with difficulty.
