Betrayed
Mark Eller
Read by Mark Eller
The War is over. Isabella has won, and the Talent Master is dead. Aaron Turner now lives in N’Ark, Isabella’s capital, where he mourns his murdered wife and son. All he wants is to tip a bottle, stare at walls, and recover.
But they won’t leave him alone.
The Isabellan government and slavers both want him dead. Savages look to him as their prophesied savior. His lawyer wants to control him. His neighbors and friends have been murdered, and a once dead shaman declares him a servant of her One God.
Aaron has to make things right. His honor demands it.
Dusting off his guns, he sets aside his grief, readies his Talent, and declares a one man war against a nation that has betrayed him, the Clan, and itself.

Aaron is a flawed, and reluctant hero. A guy that you can't help but like and find yourself smacking your head at his obtuseness sometimes. Mark Eller adds definition to Aaron Turner and expands his world a bit in this installment. This book is less about his ability to transfer ...
and now this word from a real dominatrix

great book but know most dominatrix do training, punishment, and improvements. But never abuse.. psst I don't break My toys or I. can't play with them. The books are an awesome twisted tail. and thank you so much
Better read than Traitor.

I laughed. I cried. I became nauseated. Very good story but... I thought the sadism in Traitor was disturbing; the S\M in this book was just sick making. As it should be. Loved the Truth & Reconciliation storyline. Loved Zist(?) too!

I'm so happy to see this story continue! There was a lot about Jefferson that I didn't remember from the first story so the reveal at the end was a genuine surprise. It's hard to sum up why Aaron Turner is a great character.

Enjoy this author and his readings. He does warn about the violence. He's very descriptive about it. It really freaks me out, but the rest is so interesting and such interesting characters that I overlook those parts

So the tale continues, my wife would say, “people being bad to each other, sigh! ...”. Mr. Eller weaves a complicated tale with such detail it leaves me in awe. Very nice.
