Dan Duryea Excellent in "The Man from Homicide"

(5 stars)

I first heard this program in the summer of 1951. Dan Duryea, as a homicide detective, did a first rate job. The plots are good and appear realistic for the times. Listening to these programs are well worthwhile. There was some static in the first few minutes, which disappeared after awhile. The listener should keep in mind that this is a 62-year old radio program.

It is a good one.

I thought the sound quality was decent for OTR. Good stories, "I don't like killers" is a well-delivered tag line, and the sardonic outlook of the detective shines through. Too bad there aren't more shows availabel from this series.
