Thanks for this! A quick bit of research shows that GI Jill was actually named Martha Wilkerson. A time magazine article from the era reports that a quarter of the mail received by AFRS was addressed to her under her GI Jill persona. Her girl-next-door delivery still appeals today, and the music kicks.
