I really enjoyed the deep look at medieval life, not just wars and kings. The author is definitely of his time and place, but it was well worth listening to.

Amazing political history divined in here. Listen to this all the way through. We see that humans have not changed modes... even in costume!
Good read overall. Too much detail in some chapters.
