Harold Brighouse - Zack
The satirical comedy by the author of Hobson's Choice.
Zack Munning was the despair of his mother and brother and a bit of a joke to his neighbours. It took an outsider to see, or think she saw, more in him than everyone else. In the play, "Zack is the half-witted son of a wedding purveyor whose good heart and cheerfulness are a far greater asset than his brother's crafty greed. This charming story tells in the most amusing fashion how Zack eventually wins self-respect and his bride."
