I had never heard of Marjorie Bowen - but I was attracted to this book because of the title.I thoroughly enjoyed the story even though some of the dialogue was a bit clunky at times. I do hope Librivox will do more of Marjorie Bowen's novels.

Had a hard time getting into story. had to give up after 6 chapters. Redeeming factor was it was fairly well read.
Wow I was surprised at what a great yarn this turned out to be!!
