Joe Kenmore heard the airlock close with a sickening wheeze and then a clank. In desperation he turned toward Haney. "My God, we've been locked out!"
Through the transparent domes of their space helmets, Joe could see a look of horror and disbelief pass across Haney's face. But it was true! Joe and his crew were locked out of the Space Platform.

Another outstanding performance by Mark Nelson. The story moved quickly and holds your intrest the entire time. I also enjoyed the the effects used when the characters communicated via radio. I now choose my books by searching for Mark Nelson.

Well read. Enjoyable yarn of good vs evil taken to outer space. Fast paced heroic style story. Enjoyable and interesting to learn of how before outer space exploration took place - this SCIFiI author imagined the technology to travel to orbit around earth. Fun, thanks!

Enjoyably read by the marvellous Mark Nelson, this is a ripping yarn of the type where the bad guys are bad and the good guys are good and there's no complications or nuance. I enjoyed it, its good humoured and has some good ideas. its written in a different era, and it should be enjoyed in that context. I look forward to discovering more by this author and this reader
On-cover Sequel note would've been nice.

Finding out after the fact that "Space Platform" is its predecessor. Glad the gang was 'mostly' all there. I missed Brick Talley (the co-pilot), from whom Joe poached his insights. For that reason, & others, I never gained an affinity for Joe. Plus the spacial maneuvers that saved the platform from the single man unit, would have seemed more believable coming from Brick's skill set rather than Joe's.
