This story is a little gem. A wonderful tale of becoming. The reader did a nice job, I thought that it was fun to have the singer come from a California rancho, not a spoiler, and I enjoyed the emphasis on women and their perspectives. The reader did a very nice job. I am so grateful to the LibriVox readers one and all.

A marvelous story, in diary style. another plea to the wonderful Librivox volunteers...a reading of a good novel is more powerful in your natural voice and pacing, than in an attempt at a dramatic reading. listen to a famous classic, read by a seasoned professional...they deliver the words as the author wrote them down.

Interesing stoty
