Middle Length Lam Rim - Stages of the Path to Enlightenment
Ven. Geshe Ngawang Dakpa
This course is an in depth study of the entire Buddhist path to enlightenment (lam-rim). It is based on Lama Tsongkhapa's brilliant and insightful middle-length commentary of the lam-rim, the stages of the path to enlightenment. This is an ongoing course of study which covers all the main topics presented by the Buddha in the sutras such as precious human rebirth, the three scopes, impermanence, past and future lives, refuge, karma, the four noble truths, emptiness and bodhicitta. It is taught that if we study and meditate on these topics, we can traverse the path to full enlightenment. All levels, but some previous study of Buddhism suggested. May 9th to July 4th. Please note: no class on May 30th due to Tsog. Watch the website for announcements about any date changes, and our new location in July.
