“Nameless.”

So what do you call DEATH?

Modern society is plagued by crime and despair. And the solution to the problem…is even worse.

A mysterious man, clad in grey and virtually unstoppable, is dispensing his own brand of justice to those who mock the law. No matter the age, gender or reason…no criminal is exempt from the sentence of “That grey man…that grey man…”

Enter Harry Roberts, one of the finest detectives who ever lived. He’s been brought out of retirement to stop the vigilante. His unique mind makes him the only one who POSSIBLY can, but Harry’s investigation unearths so many challenges. And very soon, the lives of Harry and his family will come under threat from the paranormal, Harry himself and his mortal enemy, gangster Frank Bryce.

Written and read by D.C. Wood, the author of upcoming Sci-Fi Fantasy novel, “The Saviour.”

This was promising. The story has compelling characters, offers the listener numerous reasons to want the Vigilante to win, even when he shouldn't! I enjoyed each chapter, and find it better than most podcasts. The author has a nasty habbit of pronouncing the "th" blend as an "f", which is horrible! Why anyone listening prior being posted wouldn't point this out to be corrected, is just wrong & does this guy a grave disservice.

cool story but . . .

it's good, a bit of a throw back style. But the pronunciation as another reviewer stated, is quite much. He needs to learn to speak without smacking his lips ! Yet it's a good modern throw back story. I dig it. I guess not every author can get Steven pacey to narrate their books.

that lip smack !

it was almost impossible to ignore when I 1st thought about it. I focused to hear well if I was hearing correctly. then it was clear that the narrator slaps/smacks his lips after or b4 every sentence ! it's louder at times & less so other times but it can be annoying. almost disgusting how loud it is at times. now this is librivox & although there are some very good books available here, it's free so I don't complain. yet I will state the obvious. and this story is one of those cheesy, over the top outrageous stories that I just think of it as the characters ticks that are edited out of productions with $ & it makes for that good old fashioned sot of cheese, like old corny movies that develop a cult following but are really corny yet u love it (or like it alot) & listen because it's somewhat original

Good Story, OK reader

Interesting story, but the reader keeps snacking his lips, which is VERY annoying. Also annoying is having to manually go to the next chapter. Lots of extra tape at the end of each chapter - like double the story itself. Dont bother with the last 2 bits. it's just the author running his mouth with nothing to do with the story.

This podio-book was entertaining from the very first chapter. Christopher's dictation of Nameless was very, very, engaging and frightening. I was engrossed in each and every chapter. I could not click on the next chapter fast enough. I was guessing who Nameless was all the way up to the end ...
